LegalGuard (“we”, “our”, “the extension”) is a Chrome Extension designed to help users understand online Terms of Service and Privacy Policies by summarizing and explaining the content displayed on the websites they visit.

We take user privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

LegalGuard does not collect, store, sell, or transfer any of the following:

• Personally identifiable information (name, email, address, phone number, etc.)
• Authentication information (passwords, credentials, tokens)
• Financial information
• Health information
• Personal communications
• Browsing history
• Location data
• User activity such as clicks, scrolls, or keystrokes

We do not track users, build profiles, or run analytics.

2. Information We Access

LegalGuard only accesses:

Website Content (text on the webpage you are currently viewing)

We read visible text from the website only after you intentionally activate the extension (for example, by clicking the extension icon or using the context menu).
